The West Long Branch Public Library’s Book Discussion Group seeks to read a variety of books, expand its knowledge of authors and engage in enjoyable, informal discussions that encourage us to share our thoughts, insights and laughter. The Book Discussion Group meets the first Thursday of the month at 6:30 PM at the Library. The moderator for the group is Dolores Ferragano. A list of the books read by the West Long Branch Public Library Book Discussion Group can be viewed here.
The West Long Branch Public Library Book Discussion Group begins its third year by keeping to its mission to read a variety of contemporary fiction and classics. Our monthly meetings continue to bring creative and unique perspectives to our lively discussions. This past year also included “Movie Night @ the Library,” where we viewed the movie version of “Madame Bovary” by Gustave Flaubert and discussed and compared the screenwriter’s interpretation of the novel. A list of the books that we are planning to read for 2007 can be viewed here.
