Children's Book Week

The West Long Branch Public Library is joining in the Children’s Book Week Celebration, November 13-19, 2006. This year’s theme, More Books, Please! encourages children, and the adults who care for them to spread the joy of reading by spending some time with a book each day. Visit the library and view our displays of children’s books, including Newbery and Caldecott Medal winners and ask for More Books, Please! Activities for the week include word search puzzles, making bookmarks and handouts of pencils and book week bookmarks. Join in the celebration and be sure to read from a book every day.
