WLBPL Celebrates Dr. Seuss & Project 236

In recognition of Project 236 and the National Education Association's Read Across America Day, please join us Friday, March 2nd for live readings of two of Dr. Seuss' most popular books, The Cat in the Hat and One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish. The celebration will kick off at 2:00 pm, with refreshments, a raffle and other games and fun events. The readings will start at 2:36 pm, the same time that other libraries and schools across the US will be recognizing the 50th anniversary of The Cat in the Hat. The project got its name from the fact that Dr. Seuss used a list of only 236 words to write The Cat in the Hat.
