A Meeting of the Macabre - October 21st

The Friends of the West Long Branch Public Library will sponsor "A Meeting of the Macabre" on Sunday, October 21st at 3:00 pm at the library. Edgar Allan Poe was one of the greatest American poets, a master of the horror tale and inspiration for the detective story. Abraham "Bram" Stoker was an Irish writer, best known for his vampire novel Dracula. Witness a live, "imaginary" meeting of these two famous horror authors as they appear dressed in authentic period clothing and chat about their lives, their inspirations and their disappointments. The scribes will also read from their works to the audience. This program is free and open to the public. For more information about this event, download the program flier!
