Free Comic Book Day Is May 5th!

West Long Branch Public Library will be celebrating Free Comic Book Day on Saturday, May 5th! Over 200 libraries across New Jersey will be partnering with local comic book stores to focus on graphic novels and comics! Come into the library and get a free Super Librarian comic book and check out our selection of graphic novels for all ages! We also have a big selection of manga (Japanese comics) as well as animated films on DVD! If you can't make it to the library, you can still experience the Super Librarian comic book online by going to the Super Librarian Comic Book Web Site.

May Art Exhibit - "Lighthouse Photography of the U.S.A & Canada" by Christine & Tom Cardaci

The Friends of the West Long Branch Public Library present the art exhibit for May 2007 entitled "Lighthouse Photography of the U.S.A & Canada." This exhibit features photographs of lighthouses taken by Christine and Tom Cardaci of Highlands, NJ. The exhibit will be on display in our Meeting Room during regular library hours from May 1st through 31st. There will also be a "Meet the Artists" reception in the library on Sunday, May 6, 2007 from 3 to 5 PM.
