2008 Helen R. Shultz Library Scholarship

To encourage people to train for a career in the library profession, the Friends of the West Long Branch Public Library offers the 7th Annual 2008 Helen R. Shultz Scholarship.

This scholarship awards $1000.00 for the 2008/2009 academic year to one student that lives in West Long Branch or Monmouth County and has been accepted into a library science or paraprofessional library program. To be eligible for the scholarship, the student should be accepted into a library science or paraprofessional library program by July 1, 2008.

The deadline for applications is June 15, 2008. A decision will be made by the Scholarship Committee no later August 1, 2008.
