Friends of the Library Annual Open House Meeting - April 6th

The Friends of the West Long Branch Public Library will sponsor their Annual Open House Meeting at the library on Sunday, April 6th from 2 to 5 PM. This meeting is open to the public and refreshments will be available. The guest speaker for the event will be local resident and library employee Sharon Hazard, author of Long Branch in the Golden Age: Tales of Fascinating and Famous People and Long Branch: A Postcard History. Sharon will talk about the history of Long Branch and about her experiences writing these books. A limited number of copies of these two books will be available for purchase and you will be able to have them signed by Sharon at the event. If you are interested in joining the Friends as an active volunteer, this is a great opportunity for you to see what the group is all about.
