July Art Exhibit - "Spring" Into Summer by Mitsu Walters

The Friends of the West Long Branch Public Library present the art exhibit for July 2008 entitled "Spring" Into Summer, featuring artwork by Mitsu Walters. Mitsu began painting as a child by studying with her father, Nobuhiro Ishikawa, a master artist in Japan. She works entirely in oils and focuses exclusively on realism. Many of Mitsu's works on display in the library feature recognizable Jersey Shore landmarks. The exhibit will be on display in our Meeting Room during regular library hours from July 1st through 31st. The Friends of the Library sponsor a series of monthly art exhibits in our Meeting Room all year long. We encourage you to stop in and view Mitsu's exhibit and to attend the artist's reception on Sunday, July 6th from 3:00 to 5:00 pm.
